Many who were smitten by her ethnic earthen beauty, are not aware of this tidbit about Parvathi Menon - she always chooses her projects based on the weightage her role carries in the story. This is why, despite countless number of offers her way, Parvathi has restrained from taking up many of them. And now Mollywood director Vimal has brought her a tricky story, wherein she is to play the eldest sister, of six girls! While almost any heroine in her prime would turn down the offer without an after thought, Parvathi on the contraru has nodded her confirmation.

Explaining the story a little more, Vimal says "As the script is based on a real incident, the story demands actors with high levels of expertise in bringing forth a variety of emotions with true-to-life grace. I had approached a lot of leading talented heroines, but they all considered it will blot their youthful image for prospective future projects and turned me down, given that she has to play the eldest sis to six other girls.

But Parvathi is a surprise package. The moment she heard me out on the story line, she was excited to grab the project to her credit." This 1960s real incident based romantic narrative is about a couple who decide to convert themselves to another religion to join hands in marriage. Actor Prithviraj essays the heavy role of hero's, and given her careful choice of films like 'Poo', 'Chennaiyil Oru Naal' and 'Mariyaan', Parvathi is geared up about playing a demanding role in yet another offbeat story.
