The release of Maro Charitra has been announced. After much speculation about its release date, it has been confirmed that it will release on the 25th of this month. Starring Varun Sandesh, Anitha and Shraddha Das in the leads, the film is a new interpretation of the Kamal Hassan-starrer of the same name.

Directed by Ravi Yadav, who says that "there is something magical about 'love,' the new remake, in his own words, has been made in such a way that it gives a good experience to the new generation cinegoer.

Also starring Kota Srinivasa Rao, Pratap Pothan, Janaki and others, the film is jointly produced by Dil Raju, Sirish and Lakshman under Matinee Entertainments.

Mickey J Meyer's music is already on chartbusters. As it is a summer film, releasing close on the heels of the finishing of examinations, it is expected to pack in the youngsters in great numbers.

Let's see if the cinematographer-turned-director will make it at the BO!
