The up and coming Naren plays the lead role in Panthayakozhi, a movie to be produced by Lal under the banner Lal Creations.

Popular Tamil actress Pooja plays the heroine opposite Naren.

The film has story by M A Venu and screenplay by J Pallassery. The shooting of the film commenced Monday.

Plans are to complete the movie and release it this Vishu.

The film has five songs penned by Vayalar Sharatchandra Varma and Alex Paul team. Venugopal handles camera for the film.
