In her seven year long career in M'town, Navya Nair had been able to live life to some very fine characters like that of 'Nandanam', 'Kalyanaraman' and 'Saira'. The beauty who is a busy mother and wife now, is already on her second innings to filmdom. Her comeback movie, Shyju Anthikkad’s Scene 1: Nammude Veedu is on roll.

The movie has her portraying the role of a higher secondary teacher called Manju. Actor -director Lal is the hero of the movie, which tells a family story.

Navya who was much impressed by the scripts of the movie assures that this well packaged script offers her a fine role which will not make people say she shouldn’t have been back.

Post her marriage, Navya made an active comeback to limelight becoming the talent show judge for a reality dance show on Asianet. An acclaimed dancer, Navya is still passionate about dancing and has performed at various venues in and outside India, the latest being in Thiruvananthapuram to the beats of percussionist Sivamani. Navya is also planning to start a dance troupe in Mumbai , specializing on both fusion and contemporary dance forms.

In the midst, Navya has also turned into writing and is ready to compile her second book, the first being 'Navaras', which was much appreciated.
