Basking on the popular Kabali song "Nerrupu Da", Vikram Prabhu and Nikki play the lead cast for this movie directed by Ashok Kumar. The talented Sean Ronald composes music for this action thriller which is about the life of a Fire Fighter.
Alangiliye : Listen Here
As much as you start liking the track, the uncanny resemblance to the ARR classic "Athangara marame" is striking enough. The minimum electric setup through the early duet is well done and its Sean Ronald’s muffled vocals that do the trick. The lyrics are drenched in love, thanks to Yuvabharathi’s cupid struck verses. Overall a good track that dwells on to you for its folkish outlook.
Karukku Kallangolu: Listen Here
A full on energetic song, no doubts there and there is everything that a hero introduction would want for and Anirudh’s vocal does the rest. Even with everything at disposal, the chord does not strike enough for its monotonous underlying tune which is nothing but stereotypical. The lyrics are spot on with humorous take on the hero entity, the song should do better with the visuals.
Andha Mathiri Ponna: Listen Here
This gaana should grow on you slowly thanks to the vocals of Ravi as he gets into the mood of the song. Yet another romeo song on girls, their tirades and what not. The whistles and the melodious setting between the interludes get into the skin of the song quite long to make it very ordinary. Except for its good start the song does not have much to offer and falls into the category of yet another love gaana.
Enga Ponna: Listen Here
Sean Ronald yet again takes up the microphone for this sorrowful soup song. The entire setting of the track is sad and brings the mood of a bearded lover who sings in vain of his long last loved one. The beautiful violin and pianistic strings are a revelation. The track is short at 2.5 minutes and is definitely the pick of the album.
Iruda Poruda: Listen Here
Full on metal outburst, Sean goes out on all guns with a bombastic outlook. The bass is evident through the underlying vibe of the song, Blaaze gives his best in the track which has enough English verses between this "Gethu" song that praises Boys and their bravery. A little retro disco touch clubbed with modern day rap is sure to give the party feel. Yet another lively track that is spun around 2 minutes should have a better take with the visuals.
