Coincidentally the Khans’ movies are not being allowed in Pakistan... Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Agent Vinod’, Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and now latest Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’- And the common thread between all these movies is the spy/army factor that becomes a hurdle for them to cross the borders...

In Yash Chopra's last directorial Shahrukh plays the role of an army officer and apparently this is the reason why the film might be banned in Pakistan. Already talks are that the film’s trailers have been stopped screening in various Pakistani TV channels.

However the speculations were denied by Iftikhar Durrani, adviser to the Ministry of National Regulation and Services.

In an interview he said that they have neither received any application to review the content nor the trailers have been banned. "There is a Standard Operating Procedure for trailers to be banned and most distributors never risk their capital on it,.. quoted Durrani further.

Incidentally, Chopra’s 2004 film ‘Veer Zaara’ also starring SRK, was denied screening because it was a story about an Indian pilot falling in love with a Pakistani girl (Preity Zinta).
