'Peepli Live' helmer's next 'Opium'

Anusha Rizvi made the entire nation to sit up and take notice of her debut venture ‘Peepli Live’; a satire on farmers’ suicide. The well-acclaimed writer-filmmaker will soon be back with her next venture.

Titled ‘Opium’, Rizvi will be co-directing this project along with her husband Mahmood Farooqui.

The film is said to be based on Amitav Ghosh's novel and currently Rizvi is busy writing the script to adapt the story for the movie version.

According to sources, ‘Opium’ will be extensively shot in Bihar and Kolkata and it is expected to start its shooting some time in 2013.
