In 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most recent production, Manisha Koirala excels, making her remarkable return. One noteworthy scene is the series premiere one with Shekhar Suman. Koirala recently talked about her experience and said she wasn't given the whole rundown.

"During rehearsals, it was probably new," Koirala said in an interview with Bollywood Bubble when asked if she was completely aware of the scene's nature. Sanjay always tries to include fresh aspects.

Scene shows Shekhar Suman and Manisha Koirala in a carriage, with the former dreaming of getting fellatio from the latter.

Suman made clear in an interview that the sequence wasn't planned at first. “It shows a drunken Nawab trying to interact with Mallikajaan after urinating from a carriage. Bhansali imagined Mallikajaan sitting there and the Nawab spinning around in midair. It explores unknown ground in an unusual way, he said.

Manisha remembered how she got the job as well, saying, "I was gardening in Nepal when Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office called me." You have a big part, Manisha; just read the script, he added. I was thrilled; I could never have imagined working with him.

Manisha plays Mallikajaan in the show. 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' is now streaming on Netflix.
