Prakash Raj to direct Nana Patekar and Shriya Saran in Bollywood

Versatile and multi-lingual actor Prakash Raj has been acting in all prominent Indian language film industries including the Bollywood. For the first time he is going to spread his wings as a producer and director in India's biggest film industry.

Prakash Raj has planned the Hindi remake of 'Un Samayal Arayil'. The Bollywood version titled as 'Thadka' will have one of India's most respected actors Nana Patekar and Shriya Saran in lead roles. Prakash Raj will direct the film and also produce it under his Duet Movies banner.

Prakash Raj and Sneha had played the lead roles in the South Indian versions of the film. Produced and directed by Prakash Raj, The film was simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada and released in early 2014. The trilingual project was a remake of Malayalam super hit 'Salt & Pepper'. The lead cast, crew, producer and directors were the same for all the three versions. The film was titled as 'Ulavacharu Biriyani' in Telugu and 'Oggarane' in Kannada. Isaignani Ilaiyaraja had scored the music in all the three languages.

We will have to wait to know whether the maestro will score the music for the Hindi version also.
