It's a news causing a little disappointing to the film music buffs. Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman's live concert in Sri Lanka which was scheduled to happen on 23rd of this month has been postponed to a later date. The Assembly elections scheduled in various Indian states including Tamil Nadu during the months of April and May has been sited as the reason for the postponement.

The concert was planned with 14 top celebrities from the film music industry. Rahman wanted to conduct a live concert in Sri Lanka to entertain the Tamils living there who are still struggling with the grim memories of the ethnic clash that ended in 2009.

Sources reveal that some Sinhala politicians in Sri Lanka wanted to thwart the concert and they are creating some problems. They say this may be the reason for the postponement.

We can only hope that the problems are sorted out and the concert of the Oscar Nayagan rocks the Island nation soon.
