Prateik Babbar is back in 'Milan Talkies'. Though there were rumours around the young actor showing reluctance about doing the film as a result of which there was also a threat of it being shelved, there is finally a relief in sight. The film is now all set to go on floors with director Tigmanshu Dhulia confirming shooting plans for January next year. Ekta Kapoor would be producing the film under her banner Balaji Motion Pictures.

Confirms Tigmanshu, "Yes, 'Milan Talkies' is pretty much on track. It is being made with Prateik as the central protagonist and Balaji would be producing the film."

Quiz him about the rumours that have been making the rounds around Prateik's reluctance and he shoots back, "No one has gone on records about it. I don't know from where did these silly rumours began. I have already started work on 'Jai Ramji' (Arjun Rampal, Preity Zinta) and after that film is complete, 'Milan Talkies' would begin."

There have also been accusations that since Tigmanshu wasn't ready with his script, it only added to Prateik's woes and made him further uncertain around whether he wanted to do the film or not. Though the film's one line plot about 'a small-town boy from UP who makes duplicate video films of famous blockbusters' excited Prateik, he was much more demanding to see the final written material.

"Ye sab bekaar ki khabar hai," says Tigmanshu in a tad irritated tone, "Prateik was always on board."

Truth or dare? Over to you Prateik!
