Priyamani is off to Australia to welcome the New Year. "She worked without even a small break throughout the year and hence she has left for the foreign country with her family members on a holiday trip," circles close to her say.
"One of her close relatives resides in Australia," they say and add: "Priyamani will be staying at their place along with her family and will take part in the grand Christmas and New Year celebrations there. She is excited about it."
A popular actress in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, Priyamani made her presence felt in Sandalwood (Kannada) in 2011. With Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan' getting the admiration of Bollywood, she is now a known face in five top film industries of India.
On her hopes for 2012, the National Award winning actress says, "I am stepping into the New Year with a lot of optimism. I would like to do different roles. No matter what the language is, I should get challenging offers. My New Year wishes to all."
