Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0', the mega budget sequel to his 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran' has been progressing on a rapid pace since its inception last year. While the lead star has been stationed in the USA for the past several weeks, director Shankar is in no mood to waste a moment and has been busily canning the sequences that does not require the star's presence.

The latest we learn is that the '2.0' unit is shooting in the backside of Sri Parthasarathy Temple located in Triplicane, Chennai. According to a source, the shooting will take place in this location for the next few days as some scenes will be shot there,

It is worth recalling that Shankar's 2005 blockbuster 'Anniyan' had a a few important scenes shot in the same locality.
