Rajnikanth is a man of youth. His core constituency is the younger generation. His movies carry a special appeal and allure to them. His Sivaji too is going to be no different.

The film which has almost finished shooting takes up, apparently, the issue of education and the rising costs thereof.

Perhaps keeping that in mind he is also planning to build a school near Chennai as we had reported in these columns a few days back.

Now another facet of Rajni and his concern for the youth and this country has come to the fore.

Recently when Rajni was shooting for Sivaji in New Jersey in America many Indian students who are pursuing higher education there met him.

Apart from posing with them and satisfying their enthusiasm, Rajni had just one line of wisdom for them.

‘After you finish your studies don’t forget your homeland. Do something for it’.

Coming as it did from Rajni, the message went down well with them.
