Ahead of the release of Sridevi's return flick 'English Vinglish', the movie was showcased to Superstar Rajinikanth and his entire family in a special screening.

English Vinglish marks the return of Sridevi to cinema after a prolonged absence and has already got standing ovations at Toronto. The film is being in dubbed in Tamil and will be released during October across India in both Tamil and Hindi. And it is being reported that the Superstar and his family thoroughly enjoyed the film during the screening.

Sridevi will be playing a teacher in the film which will feature Ajith Kumar in a cameo appearance (and Amitabh Bachchan playing the same role in Hindi). It is expected to hit screens on October 5th.
