After a stunning debut with the emotional romantic saga 'Cuckoo' that released last year, director Raju Murugan is yet to begin his second film. The former journalist is presently penning dialogues for the Karthi-Nagarjuna starrer 'Thozha', the official remake of Hollywood film 'The Intouchables'.

Meanwhile insiders privy to talks going on in Kollywood reveal that Raju Murugan will be directing a film based on the Dharmupuri caste violence that rocked the state of Tamil Nadu a few years back.

The love marriage between a boy and a girl from different castes in Dharmupuri lead to a spurt of caste violence and the boy eventually ended his life by falling in front of a train.

We will keep you posted once we get the official confirmation about this project.
