Remaking a Malayam hit film C.I.D. Moosa, is Venu.  The actor plays a detective in its Telugu adaptation, Ramachari.  Seen along with him is Kamalini Mukherjee in the role of a florist.

The film is directed by G. Eshwar Reddy of Seetharamula Kalyanam.. Lankalo fame.  Produced by P Venkatashyam Prasad, the film is the 6th in the banner of SP Entertainments for Venu.

'Veedo Pedda Goodachari', so goes the tagline.  For Venu and Kamalini, the film offers plenty of hope because it belongs to the genre of slapstick comedy.  If the genre is promising, the quality of slapstick comedies has been miserably low in the recent past leaves the audience asking for more.

CID Moosa, on whiich this film is based, revolves around a private detective whose dreams of becoming a policeman were shattered by the conspiracy of his brother-in-law.  The film is about how he embarks on an investigatory spree to uncorck a series of murders.

Sutthivelu, Balayya and others form its cast.  Music is by Mani Sharma.  Lyrics are by Ramajogaiah Sastry; Editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
