'Rockstar' does a 'Satte Pe Satta'

B-town prince charming Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Rockstar’ scored seven out of seven at an award function... We mean the movie bagged the popular 7 prize at the recently held Zee Cine Awards!

Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision’s ‘Rockstar’, won seven prestigious awards including Best Actor (Popular), Best Director, Best Lyrics, Best Singer (Male), Best Music, Best Screenplay and Best Editing.

While Ranbir Kapoor’s role in the film won him Best Actor (popular) award, Imtiaz Ali bagged the Best Director. Irshad Kamil won the Best Lyricist award while Composer AR Rahman was awarded the best music director's trophy for his chartbusting music in ‘Rockstar’.

Mohit Chauhan won the Best Male singer trophy for the song ‘Jo Bhi Main’ in the musical romantic saga. Aarti Bajaj was awarded for Best Editing. The movie also won the Best Screenplay Award.

The evening was indeed an eventful one for team ‘Rockstar’ and we are sure of its successful run at the other award functions too!
