Shocked and surprised by this news, Salman spoke at the trailer release of 'Jai Ho', which is the remake of Chiranjeevi-Trisha-Kushboo starrer Tollywood flick 'Stalin', on December 12th.

"I am a great fan of Rajinikanth, and I like him very. The very fact that I am releasing the trailer of my upcoming film on his birthday is proof of my statement. But I am certainly not the next Rajinikanth of Bollywood. Although I am moved by this kind gesture by fans, I would like to clarify that there is only one Rajinikanth" said Salman.
