Born as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on 27 December 1965, Salman Khan turns 46 today and undoubtedly Bollywood is at his feet.

Salman which means the conqueror, the protector, the leader, the supreme, is truly Hindi film industry’s most bankable and the most loved star of the modern age.

Today Salman Khan enjoys the status similar to the iconic Big B during his regime in the 80’s where the megastar’s star power converted mediocre films into blockbusters.. at that time people flocked theatres to see their favourite Amitabh Bachchan in action, roles where designed according to his image.. today Salman enjoys the same love and affection from the industry and the public.

Its only Salman who can turn average to above average movies like Ready and Bodyguard turn into record breakers at the B.O.

Audience don,t care much about the technicalities or art here… they want their hero in action giving them the moment they have paid and come for and today only Salman can guarantee the return to his investors.

Remember, he is the same Salman whose box office credentials where getting questioned in 2008 when Yuvvraaj, Heroes, God Tussi Great Ho, dumped at the box office.

His critics forgot the fact that Salman Khan who has the knack of walking into troubles and was once considered as ‘bad boy’ has the habit of writing history at Bollwood box office.

Maine Pyaar Kiya broke all records during its times which was later broken by his own ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’. Salman was always the favourite amongst the masses, the rare combination of tough well toned body and soft face with a ‘I don’t care damn’ attitude made him the favorite amongst the masses and the media alike.

Salman and his fans where waiting for something like ‘wanted’ to happen and the result proved that Salman Khan is here to stay and rule. Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard all where testimonies one after another that one it comes to star power.. Nobody can touch this man .

After ‘Wanted’ Salman realized the importance of promotions and media, he revived his image from a brat to someone who cares synonymous to his name; he became the protector, the leader with the initiative called ‘Beign Human’ he was the darling of the masses. His failed love affairs acted as sympathy which further helped in molding his image, his caring nature earned him great respect from his co –workers, his commitment to his family and brothers made him the perfect ‘Hero’ that every filmmaker and filmgoer wants.

Our dear Salman Khan was once considered to be the weakest of all the other Khans – Shahrukh and Aamir but today as he turns 46, Bollywood is at his feet. He may not be the greatest actor but he certainly is the biggest ‘Dabangg’ the ‘Bodygaurd’ that guards the money of his producers, always ‘Ready’ to help those needy (Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sonakshi Sinha.. many such examples) which makes Salman Khan the most ‘Wanted’ hero of Hindi cinema.

Wishing Salman – the man with a heart bigger than his biceps a VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY BIRTHDAY..
