After a long gap, 'Kadhal' girl Sandhya is back in Kollywood. She is playing the lead lady in 'Veri' ('Thimiru 2'), being made by actor-director Tharun Gopi. The movie is set in the backdrop of a village.

"Tharun Gopi, who is keen at making a comeback, has come out with a racy screenplay in 'Veri'. The film is a commercial entertainer and Sandhya is playing a village girl," sources say.

Besides wielding the megaphone, Tharun Gopi himself plays the lead role. Ramana is there in a crucial role. It is said that the shoot was completed in 35 days and post production works are currently on in Chennai.
