Reports have it that Akshay Kumar replaces Sanjay Dutt in Vashu Bhagnani’s ‘Faltu’.

Vashu Bhagnani is going the tough way to promote his son Jackky who had a bad outing in his first movie ‘Kal Kissne Dekha’. Vashu plans to re-launch his son with a bang, this time, in ‘Faltu’, that sources say is about the educational system and career choices the youth make.

Sources add that Vashu wanted a big star in the movie along with his son. He first decided Sanjay Dutt, who also appeared in an item song in Jackky’s first movie, in a crucial character in the movie but as Sanjay had problems with his dates, Vashu couldn’t cast him. However the grapevine has another version for Sanjay to opt out. Apparently Dutt walked out of the film when he realised that Vashu did not include his friend and manager Dharam Oberoi's daughter, Neha, in ‘Faltu’.

Well looks like Sanjay’s loss is Akshay’s gain. Sources say, that Vashu had a discussion with Akshay regarding the characterization. Vashu seems to be keen on casting Akki.

Lets see if it really is Akshay’s gain!
