As we all know Santhanam will be acting in a film to be directed by Selvaraghavan the elder brother and the mentor of Dhanush. Now the comedian turned hero will be pairing up with the heroine of one of the super hits of Dhanush in the recent years.

Amyra Dastur who made her Kollywood debut playing the female lead in 'Aneghan' has been roped in as the love interest of Santhanam in the film to be directed by Manikandan of 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' fame.

The film has been titled as 'Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum' and Ghibran will be rendering the music score. Gobinath will work as the cinematographer.

'Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum' will be produced by Srinivasan and Sivaraman of Vasan Visual Ventures banner. The film has been launched with a formal pooja today and the first look poster has been released.
