Ilayathalapathy's favorite comedian joins 'Vijay 61'

Sri Thenandaal Films are producing Vijay's next after 'Bairavaa' directed by Atlee and starring Jyothika, Samantha and Kajal Agarwal as the leading ladies. The film is written by India's premier screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad of 'Naan E' , 'Baahubali' and 'Bajrangi Baijaan' fame which jointly grossed over 1000 Crores.

Sathyan has confirmed that he is a part of 'Vijay 61' and will be appearing with the mass hero throughout the film. It may be recalled that it was Vijay who convinced Sathyan to take up comedy roles in which he has enjoyed a good innings and has combined with the Ilayathalapathy in films like 'Sachein', 'Azhagiya Tamizh Magan', 'Vettaikaran' and as the hilarious Silencer in 'Nanban'.
