Sherin sulks over salary

Sherin has lodged a complaint with the South Indian Film Artistes Association against producer-actor Sanjay Ram for not giving her remuneration as promised for the upcoming film ÂPoova ThalaiyaÂ.
According to the actress, it was promised that Rs 9 lakh would be paid to her as salary for acting in the movie. However, only Rs 4 lakh was given so far and there is no word about the remaining amount.
Says SherinÂs mother Yasodara, ÂSherin took part in Poova Thalaiya shooting for 25 days. They assured us that the balance amount would be given once the remaining part of the shoot is over.Â
ÂHowever, there is no communication from them so far and whenever we tried contacting the production side through phone, they were not ready to attend our calls. So we have approached the Nadigar Sangam. We have already filed a similar complaint.Â
