Shruthi Haasan is surprised with the reports which claimed that she would croon for a Kannada film titled ÂPrithviÂ, starring Puneet Rajakumar in the lead role. ÂThis is news to me she says.
The actress-music composer however says she is interested to work in a Kannada movie if she is approached. ÂWhy not? I will surely work for a Kannada film if the project is exciting is her take.
The elder daughter of the versatile Kamal Haasan claims her singing career started more than a decade ago when his father was making ÂHey RamÂ. ÂNot many know that I have worked on a song in Hey Ram, she says.
On scoring music for her dadÂs last release ÂUnnaipol OruvanÂ, she says, Âit was indeed challenging. Because I was well aware that expectations would be so high when it is a Kamal film. I hope I have not spoiled the show.Â
