After ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ director Aanand L Rai has set out on his next venture ‘Raanjhnaa’ - an intense love story starring the ‘Kolaveri’ sensation Dhanush and our stylish beauty Sonam Kapoor.

Recently both Sonam and Dhanush said to have flew off to Benaras for a 40-day schedule for the shoot of the film.

According to sources, although the shooting of the film is likely to start in a few days, the prior arrival of main actors is to get the feel of the city and allow them to settle down before the actual action begins.

Dhanush who is making his Bollywood debut with ‘Raanjhnaa’ features as Kundan, a Hindi Brahmin in the film.

The actor-singer plays a college student along with Sonam. Incidentally, Dhanush has specially learned Hindi for the film.

‘Raanjhnaa’ touted to be a close to reality sort of entertainer. The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Deepak Dobriyal and Anshuman Singh while Abhay Deol will be seen in cameo role.
