Released last month, Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’ (SOTY) managed to bag good response. However the film at the same time also attracted a problem as well. One of the songs from SOTY "Radha" is the reason behind the trouble...

Following a complaint by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha an FIR reported to have been lodged against producers of the film Shahrukh Khan and his wife Gauri (Red Chillies Entertainment) and Karan Johar (Dharma Productions). According to Ojha, the song "Radha" allegedly portrays the Hindu deity in obscene manner.

Ojha few days back had lodged the complaint in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate S P Singh. And after hearing the case, the FIR has been lodged yesterday at Sadar police station in Muzaffarpur district, Bihar against the team - under sections 294 (Obscene acts and songs to annoyance of others), 295 (deliberate and malicious act intended to hurt religious feelings and 295A (injuring or defiling place of worship intended to insult the religion) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Besides SRK, Gauri and KJo, SOTY’s lead actors Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt are also among others who are accused in the case.
