The long Ayudha Pooja weekend has brought much cheer to the Tamil Nadu box office as the three diverse themed films  Mahesh Babu-ARM's 'Spyder', Vijay Sethupathi's 'Karuppan' and Gautham Karthick's 'Hara Hara Mahadevaki' have hit their targets with the audiences.

'Spyder' has made a whopping rupees 16 Crores in the past six days with Chennai accounting for 3.16 Cr., Chengalput 6.3 Cr., Coimbatore 3.5 Cr. And the rest in other territories, keeping the film steady at  Number one at the b.o.

The rural drama 'Karuppan' has collected an impressive 10.5 Cr., in the state from four days with Chennai contributing 1.2Cr., Chengalput 2.45 Cr., Coimbatore 1.35 Cr and the rest from the remaining territories.

The first full blooded adult comedy of Tamil cinema, 'Hara Hara Mahadevaki' has fetched rupees 7Crores in Tamil Nadu, with Chennai opening with 59lakhs, Chengalput 1.16Cr., Coimbatore 74lakhs and the rest from other areas making this Gautham Karthick’s third hit in a row.
