A few months ago it was officially announced that acclaimed director Bala's next film has been titled as 'Nachiyaar' and the film will star Jyothika and G.V.Prakash Kumar in lead roles. Isaignani Ilaiyaraja is the music director. After that there was no information about the project for long.

Now we learn from a reliable sources that the shooting has been progressing well. Recently the makers have resumed the shooting after taking a short break. G.V.Prakash is spotted with a new look which will be his getup for the film.

The Isaignani has composed two songs. The makers are planning to bring 'Nachiyaar' to the theaters in the month of September 2017.

The film is being produced by Bala's B Studiis and Eon Studios .
