Sandhya may be a young girl. She has a matured head on her young shoulders.

"I am keen to act only in movies that will have a scope for me to perform. At no cost will I prefer to play glamour roles", says Sandhya, who shot to fame with Kadhal.

Following the success of her debut venture Kadhal, Sandhya has become a sought after heroine in Kollywood with offers pouring in her kitty. She is currently busy acting in Vallavan, Dishoom and a movie titled Koodal Nagar with Bharath.

Sandhya says "though I get offers from Malayalam following my movie Alice in Wonderland, I want to establish myself in Kollywood and then venture to other language movies".

Currently gearing up for the SSLC examinations that she will take up this September, Sandhya says"appreciation that I received from stalwarts like Balachander and Bharathiraja has given me a great boost".

She has no examination fever or anything of that sort.
