Rishi Kapoor’s forthcoming movie ‘Chintuji’ is made up with special ingredients. First it will be full-length movie of Rishi Kapoor, after a long time. Second he has attempted to wear a hilarious character who is a hero trying to be a politician. The title itself denotes the pet name of the actor and he plays himself in the movie. Then here is more interesting tittle-tattle on the movie.

Rishi Kapoor has been featured to shake a leg or two with the sizzling hot Sophie Chowdhary in a tribal song. And know what the speciality of the song is? Well, the lyrics of the song are nothing but the names of famous international filmmakers! The song “Akira Kurosawa” includes names like Akira Kurosawa, Alfred Hitchcock, Brian De Palma, Francis Ford Coppolla, Vittorio De Sica, Frank Capra and others. It is composed by Siddhartth Sharma and Suhas Shetty. The composers and the director of the film Ranjit Kapoor are huge fans of these filmmakers. For, this tribal track instead of using gibberish, they decided to kind of pay an ode to the international filmmakers. Thus serving two purposes – one as a tribute to their favourite filmmakers and other is that it turned out to be a funky fun song. Suhas revealed, “The feel is very Latino and has Salsa beats. The words are blended so well to sound like a tribal song that unless you don’t hear it carefully, it would be hard to make out that the lyrics are actually the names of almost 30 filmmakers.” Well, that’s really an innovative idea!

Now the other insider from ‘Chintuji’ is that it has the beautiful Russian actress, who was featured in ‘Mera Naam Joker’ as the trapeze artist. Kseniya Ryabinkina, aged 70, was roped in after a serious search by the team. They had got in touch with Russian Film Commission and used other Russian contacts to find her. It is said that even though she was not keeping well due to old age, the Russian lady readily accepted the offer. According to sources, the producer Bobby Bedi said, “The film Chintuji draws a lot of inspiration from Rishi Kapoor’s real life. There is a mention of Mera Naam Joker in the film. Director Ranjit Singh suggested that we should cast Kseniya who had played a very important role opposite Raj Kapoor in Mera Naam Joker. He thought it would lend authenticity to our film. In Chintuji, she plays someone who changes Rishi’s life.”

Well, with so many efforts taken and with such innovations, hope ‘Chintuji’ brings difference in Rishi Kapoor’s career. The movie is expected to be released on September 4. A date when we have to wish the actor Happy Birthday!
