Tinsel town had been abuzz these days about Vidya Balan being dropped from her ‘Kahaani’ filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film ‘Durga Rani Singh’ and replaced by Kangana Ranaut instead. Speculations were rife that Ghosh went for change of heroines as Vidya was alleged to be pregnant.

Now of late Ghosh has come out to clarify on this news. He revealed that he always wanted to work with his favourite actress, Vidya Balan. However he was told by Vidya that she wants to take break from professional life but not for pregnancy reasons. "She hasn’t told me she’s pregnant. I don’t think she is," stated Ghosh in an interview. He went on to add that he has approached Kangana but only if she agrees, he will go ahead with his project.
