Finally 'Sangamithra' to be launched in this mega prestigious event

The prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France will have the launch of a much expected mega budget Tamil film this year.

One of Tamil Cinema's biggest production house Thenandal Studio Limited (Formerly Sri Thenandal Films) will be sponsoring the opening night the Cannes on May 18, 2017. On this event their ambitious historical fantasy project 'Sangamithra' will be launched.

'Sangamithra' is touted to be India's costliest film as informed by the film's director Sundar.C. in his interview to IndiaGlitz last year. The film had a lengthy pre-production schedule to do justice to its magnitude and budget. The film will be set in eigth century. Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman will be the music director of this grand project in which Jayam Ravi, Arya and Shruti Haasan will be playing the lead roles.

The three lead actors have underwent training sessions in various war techniques of kingship era. Shruthi who plays a princess in the film has got trained in sword fighting in UK.

The film's producer Murali and director Sundar.C will be accopmpanied by lead actors Jayam Ravi, Arya and Shruti Haasan and Art director Sabu Cyril in the Cannes Red Carpet for the launch of India's prestigious project 'Sangamithra'.

The long expected launch of 'Sangamithra' is finally going to happen that too in the most popular International; film festival Cannes. This is a proud moment for Tamil and Indian cinema.
