"Bharathiraja never liked me" - Superstar Rajinikanth

At the grand opening ceremony of Bharathiraja International Institute of Cinema Superstar Rajinikanth's humor laden speech was well received by those in attendance. He heaped praise on his '16 Vayadhinile' director by saying that he was a man of a clean heart and that is why right from MGR to K. Balachander shared a very close relationship with him.

Rajinikanth jokingly added that Bharathiraja always used to wonder why people did not accept him as a hero in 'Kallukkul Eeram' but accepted Rajini. He also said that the National Award winning director never accepted him as a good actor.
