The television market leader Sun TV after a long lull is back with a bang buying the satellite rights of many films which should come as a big boost for the Tamil film industry. The latest biggie that Sun has grabbed for a huge sum is Suriya`s Thaana Serndha Koottam` directed by Vignesh Shivan.

Studio Green Gnanavelraja has in fact signed a three film deal with Sun, the other two films being Suriya`s S3` and the yet to begin Sivakarthikeyan project directed by Vignesh Shivan.
