Despite being a Delhi-based Punjabi, Taapsee Pannu has been climbing steps of success in Southern film industry as well as has been creating her good impression in Bollywood as well.

The industry has been accepting her but yet there are certain stereotypes on how south actresses are looked at and the kind of films Taapsee is currently doing in Bollywood is not really the typical films that South actresses really do. So the type of roles and movies which Taapsee is choosing we are sure will change the perception on how Tollywood actresses are actually viewed.

When asked to Taapsee about this she said, "It was a little difficult in the beginning because people in Hindi film industry didn't trust that I was serious about my career in Bollywood. I was not staying in Mumbai and was doing more films in south. I also didn't choose the usual path of doing only commercial potboilers. Slowly I had to choose the best out of what I got and I'm happy people gave me a chance to. I just went with the flow of choosing the best of it what I got so I could convince my audience that it's worth going to watch a movie for me."

Taapsee has few wonderful Bollywood projects lined up her way - 'Pink' with Amitabh Bachchan, 'Tadka' with Ali Fazal, Nana Patekar and Shreya Saran. We wish how Taapsee has been successful in South, she gets more success in Bollywood industry and break stereotypes on how South`s actresses are seen. We would love to see more work of this Southern beauty in Hindi cinema.
