Tamanna out of Sarath Kumar's film

Tamanna, who was assigned to play the heroine to Sarath Kumar in Nam Nadu, has been shown the door. Karthika now replaces Tamanna.

Nam Nadu is a remake of Malayalam hit Lion. Sarath Kumar plays the lead role in the movie which is directed by Suresh.

Tamanna was initially urged to play the female lead. However she went busy with her film Kallori, directed by Balaji Sakthivel for director Shankar's S Pictures.

Now the producer (Ramesh Babu) and Suresh have chosen to axe Tamanna and have instead replaced her with Karthika for the role.

Nam Nadu went to floors just a couple of days ago.
