Ram is back, hyper-active and hyper-senti about dad. Establishing the film as a father-son story essentially, the teaser presents Sathyaraj and Ram at their comic selves. As is his style, Ram brings out the quirks related to filial devotion with ease. And Sathyaraj sheds the Katappa image and tries his hand at comedy as a father overwhelmed by the son's possessiveness in a funny way.

"Tandri ni preminche koduku dorakadam adrushtame kani..' so goes the teaser's first line, spoken by Sathyaraj to God. Telugu cinema heroes are early bloomers as far as quirks are concerned and the hero of 'Hyper' is no different. He is biased toward the father even as a child ('Andaru padipothe amma antaru, nanna ani enduku anaru?' the child Ram ponders). Perhaps, a song privileges 'Pitru devo bhava' over 'Matru devo bhava'!

Expect the story to take a curious turn because of the sentiment of Ram's character. It's another 'Nannaku Prematho' moment for Tollywood.

Raashi Khanna is playing the female lead. Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Posani, Prabhas Sreenu, and others are part of the cast. Cinematography is by Sameer Reddy. Art direction is by Avinash Kolla. Editing is by Gautham Raju. Dialogues are by Abburi Ravi.

This action-cum-family entertainer is produced by 14 Reels Entertainment and has music by Ghibran. Set to hit the screens on Sept 30, the film is directed by Santosh Srinivas of 'Kandireega' fame.
