'Thupakki' gets U

Vijay's much awaited 'Thupakki', which is slated to hit the screens this weekend in a prelude to Deepavali festivities, has been cleared by the Censor with a clean U certificate.

Now that the film is cleared by the Censor board, the final copy will get ready, prints will be made and they will dispatched to theatres all over the world.

"Director A R Murugadoss has shaped up Thupakki as a racy commercial entertainer with the message. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is happy with the end product," sources say.

Kajal Agarwal plays the heroine in 'Thupakki', which has music by Harris Jayaraj. A couple of songs from the movie are already topping the charts.
