How has Udhayanidhi's film performed amid 'Baahubali 2' storm?

Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen' released over the weekend even as the 'Baahubali 2' storm has still not started showing signs of crossing the shore.

The film directed by Ezhil released in 16 screens across Chennai and it has had 171 shows in screened in the first three day weekend. With that the film has collected 43,68,710 with an average 85% occupancy.

Trade calls it a 'Good Opening' for the film in Chennai Box office.
