Anirudh and his tryst for innovation seem to be never ending. His Vannakam Chennai will have variety unleashed and each of the song unique in its own way. His two teasers “Ailasa” and “Oh penne” already jibing the social network sites, the composer has further roped in Assamese singer Papon who made news with his song in Barfi.

The album also has Aadhi of Hip Hop Tamizhan fame crooning a song, also doing a number is Vishal of Vishal-Sekhar fame, he was recently in the city for a song. Arjun from the UK and Hard Kaur will also be a part of this album. Anirudh has constantly been tweeting through his social website that the album will be a sensational one as he has tried different choruses.
