The Poda Podi` girl Varu Sarathkumar is currently the leading lady of Bala`s Thaara Thappattai` in which she is paired opposite Sasikumar.
Now Varalakshmi has signed on to play the heroine in the as yet untitled film directed by Arun Vaidyanathan who gave the thriller Achamundu Achanmundu`. The film has Arjun as an intelligent cop and Prasanna in an important role. The film is produced by I Studios of Kappal` fame.
