Today is the birthday of actor Vishal and this has been an eventful year for him both on screen and off screen. While he has been working on back to back films he is also busy with spearheading the opposition against the present office bearers of South Indian Film Artistes Association (Nadigar Sangam) and he will be contesting in the elections that are scheduled for September 1.

Vishal has also been doing so many philanthropic activities and he seems to be having a special interest on school going children. For this year birthday (today), Vishal has vowed not to spend money on lavish parties and instead spend the valuable day and money in doing good for the society.

Apart from this there are quite many activities planned for the day on behalf of his fan clubs. The Chennai district fan club of Vishal has started off the day with donating a washing machine worth Rs.1.20 lakhs for an old age home in Kilpauk.
