On the Gandhi Jayanthi Day, the candidates of Pandavar Ani filed their nominations to contest in the Nadigar Sangam elections to be held on October 18 in Chennai.

Vishal would be contesting for the post of General Secretary while Karthi will contest for the post of Treasurer. Karunas and Ponvanna filed the nomination for contesting for the Vice President posts while Prasanna, Sangeetha, Kovai Sarala and Sriman will be contesting for the posts of Executive Members.

Veteran actor Nasser is the Presidential candidate of the Padnavar Ani who filed his nomination on October 1 in front of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan.

the Pandavar Ani also unveiled their 42-point Election Manifesto in which they have promised to annul the contract entered with SPI Cinemas to build a mall int he 18 ground land owned by the Sangam. Streamlining of memberships. insurance cover and other benefits for members of the Sangam are the other promises made out in the manifesto.

The rebel actors have also reiterated their promise of acting in a film together to raise funds for the better administration of the Sangam.
