Avatar, Hollywood's early reviewers predict, will be the most important thing to happen for the world of cinema in the 2000s. All set to release on the 18th of this month, the epic adventure made by James Cameroon is already brandished as "jaw-dropping" and "mind-blowing." If it really does what it is said it will do to Hollywood and world cinema at large, its director, who earlier masterpiece Titanic, will be called a legendary director.

With the reviewers of The Sun, The Hollywood Reporter and many more going gaga over the extravaganza depicted in the film, it appears that Avatar (Sanskrit word, which loosely translates to 'incarnation') is the greatest film in years.

Us Indians can be sure of a big release of the movie, bigger than the release of 2012, The Matrix Reloaded or even Titanic. Fox Star Studios is planning to release the film with, hold your breath, 700 prints in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, across the country, in both 2D and 3D format.

Once, Bill Clinton said that the world population could be divided into two: those who have been to Taj Mahal and those who have not been to it. Wonder, if today's President will be tempted to replace the Mughal marvel with the James piece in a fitting tribute, if he ever makes one.
