When Akshay Kumar met 'Neerja' aka Sonam Kapoor

Team 'Neerja', consisting of Sonam Kapoor, Shabana Azmi and director Ram Madhvani have been promoting the film in the city. During the promotions yesterday at a suburban Studio, 'Airlift' star Akshay Kumar paid in an impromptu visit to Team Neerja.

Our sources shared, Akshay, who was in the vicinity for work, left team 'Neerja' pleasant surprise by his appearance. In his brief interaction with the team - including Sonam Kapoor and Shabana Azmi - Akshay shared his good wishes for his film. Akshay was also overheard saying that he is looking forward to the film.

Neerja is a film based on the heroic story of Neerja Bhanot who sacrificed her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986. Directed by Ram Madhvani and Produced by Fox Star Studio's and Bling Unplugged, the film is all set to release on February 19th, 2016.
