Even as the clock is ticking for Vijay’s ‘Vettaikkaran’, which would mark Anushka’s reentry in Tamil cinema after ‘Rendu’, some secrets about the actress’s character in the movie are out.

Reliable sources in the unit say she is playing a techie, who hails from a middle-class family. She would often meet Vijay accidentally and scenes involving both would evoke laughter among the audience.

“Besides, the on-screen chemistry between Vijay and Anushka is fresh and great. You will see an awesome pair in ‘Vettaikkaran’. The songs have been picturised beautifully and Anushka has given her best,” they add.

Produced by M Balasubramanian and B Gurunath Meiyappan for AVM Productions, ‘Vettaikkaran’, released by Sun Picutres, is directed by Babu Sivan. The film will hit the screens this Friday.
