For quite a while there has been speculation on what the movie Isai is about, and the rumors are starting to become true. Supposedly to portray the lives of Isaingnani Ilayaraja and Oscar Nayagan AR Rahman, and yes we know SJ Suryah is helming the movie for a while now. The movie also has Sathyaraj in a powerful role, who plays a guy residing by a hilly region in Kodaikanal.

And Ilayaraja’s home town as we know is by the foot hills near the town Theni, so the striking resemblance is quite unmistakable. SJ Suryah will apparently be essaying the role of Rahman and also has Jayaprakash to do Maniratnam’s role. Well, all ok but there is a big question mark on how this movie will do in the minds of people, any comments?
