Though the Censor guidelines haven't changed over the years, the desire to cast an adult film heroine in his film has stayed constant for Mahesh Bhatt since last many years.
The story goes that even for 'Jism' (which Bipasha Basu eventually did), he and Pooja Bhatt had in mind to cast someone like Sunny.
"Yes, it may sound strange to some people but even during 'Jism' days we felt that an adult film heroine would be best suited to play the part. After all, we were telling a story about the games that one could play with a body.
In fact Sunny's name was discussed back then as well but somehow she wasn't to be contacted", Mahesh Bhatt recollects, "Even for 'Jism 2' we considered her along with her choices like Mallika Sherawat and Bipasha Basu.
However things weren't quite settling in Meanwhile Pooja was reluctant as well since she didn’t want to make a film which carried a feel of seen-it-done-that."
This is when Sunny's visit to India was announced and once she happened to arrive for Big Boss, Bhatts decided to engage in some formal talks with her.
While the deal was eventually struck, Bhatt senior was also sure that the film would carry a definite story too other than just some body play in motion.
Well, come 3rd August and we would wait to see the story that Bhatts have in mind for the audience.
